چکیده

OBJECTIVE: Laparoscopic radical nephrectomy (LRN) has been suggested as the standard care for cancer patients in T1-2 stage. However, whether this advanced technique is most indicated suitable renal tumors higher than T3a and N1 unclear, especially different regions countries, such difference between European Asia. METHODS: From 2013 to 2021, data of pathologically diagnosed cell carcinoma (RCC) who received laparoscopic retroperitoneal was subjected present study. RESULTS: Overall, all registered Vietnamese were eligible The average operative time 86.8 ± 21.2 min percentage number stages 1, 2, 3 134 (70.2%), 30 (15.7%), 27 (14.1%), respectively. Patients 3rd stage had a significantly longer 1–2 (p = 0.0001). No Lymph-node dissection (LND) recorded 10 (5.2%), limited LND 163 (85.3%), regional 13 (6.8%), extended (eLND) 5 (2.6%). eLND showed only prolongation 0.000), however, did not increase intraoperative complications well prolonged duration analgesia hospital stay when compared with other 2 groups 0.82, 0.85, 0.91). Mean follow-up time: 42.3 24.7 months. 5-year recurrent free survival overall were: 98.3%, 100%, 87.8%, 98.9%, 91.3%, 0.0011, p 0.0082). CONCLUSION: Retroperitoneal LRN could be an important improving long-term oncological outcomes patients, T1-3N0-1M0 tumors. Radical safe technically feasible providing favorable T1-2-3aN1M0 RCC.

Laparoscopic radical nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma.

PURPOSE To estimate the efficacy of the laparoscopic radical nephrectomy we analyzed the clinical data of our series. PATIENTS AND METHODS One hundred eighty five patients were enrolled in our laparoscopic radical nephrectomy program between July, 1992 and July, 2001. Of the 185 patients, 146 had small renal tumors (smaller than 5 cm in diameter) and 39 had large tumors (equal to or more than...

Laparoscopic versus Open Radical Nephrectomy in T2 Renal Cell Carcinoma: Long-Term Oncologic Outcomes

PURPOSE Laparoscopic radical nephrectomy (LRN) has become the standard technique for radical nephrectomies for T1 renal tumors (7 cm or less). We extended our experience with LRN to T2 renal tumors (greater than 7 cm) and compared the efficacy and long-term oncologic outcomes with those of open radical nephrectomy (ORN) for T2 clear renal cell carcinoma (RCC) in the same period. MATERIALS AND...

comparison of the clinical efficacy of retroperitoneal laparoscopic partial nephrectomy and radical nephrectomy for treating small renal cell carcinoma: case report and literature review

conclusions there were no significant differences in the survival rates and short-term postoperative complications between the laparoscopic partial nephrectomy group and the laparoscopic radical nephrectomy group for small rcc, but the former was slightly more effective. background renal cell carcinoma (rcc) is a common malignancy of the urinary system with high rates of morbidity and mortality...

Decreasing the indications for radical nephrectomy: a study of multifocal renal cell carcinoma

Multifocal renal cell carcinoma (RCC) has been reported in 5-25% of cases worldwide. Although management of patients with multifocal RCC has not been clearly defined, presence of multifocal renal masses in one kidney and a normal contralateral kidney has often been considered a reason for performing radical nephrectomy. This study reviews the world literature to provide an accurate estimate of ...

Fast access and early ligation of the renal pedicle significantly facilitates retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy procedures: modified laparoscopic radical nephrectomy

BACKGROUND The objective of this study was to develop a modified retroperitoneal laparoscopic nephrectomy and compare its results with the previous technique. METHODS One hundred retroperitoneal laparoscopic nephrectomies were performed from February 2007 to October 2011. The previous technique was performed in 60 cases (Group 1). The modified technique (n = 40) included fast access to the re...
